Trials, Trials, Trials, Blessings, Blessings, Blessings

Well it has been along time since I have posted. A lot has happened in our lives in the past 2 weeks so I thought I would share. I know Heavenly Father is watching out for us but at the same time he has thrown some hurdles in our way. Last Friday Kiersten had an ATV accident and was life flighted to primary children's hospital. She has 2 broken wrists, a broken elbow, stitches in her nose and a bruised lung. She is doing well at home now and in the end it turned out to not be as serious and we thought. Unfortunately she has cast on both arms so I have to help her do everything. It is going to be a long 2 months but we are so so thankful that she was not hurt worse. The gas throttle got stuck on the 4-wheeler and she was going over 30 miles per hour when she hit a hill and jumped across a road about 10 feet and down a hill. She was wearing a helmet so she escaped with no permanent damage. With 2 broken arms she managed to get up and walk half way down our long driveway before she laid down. I am so thankful that Heavenly father was watching out for her that day. I do not know what I would do with out her. It has truly been a great blessing in our lives to still have her with us. She is such a sweet girl. On the way to the hospital she said "Mom, am I a good person" I said, "of course you are." She then said, "am I going to die." She really thought she was going to die and was worried that she wasn't good enough. She definatly is good enough. She has such a strong testimony of the gospel and I have no doubt that she would go to the celestial kingdom. We love her so much and are so thankful for her.

Our next trial happened a week and a day before Kiersten's accident. I was 33 weeks pregnant and had some really bad pain. I thought they were contractions so I waited about 40 minutes and realized I should go to the hospital. I didn't think it was serious so I told Ben to wait to come. He was about 1/2 hr away in Vernal. As soon as I got to the hospital I was really dizzy and felt like I was going to pass out. They took me back and put me on the monitors but they were having trouble finding a heart beat. For some reason I wasn't worried yet because I had felt him move that morning. They tried and tried to find one but couldn't. They called ultra sound and they came. Ben still wasn't there yet but was on his way. JoAnn my sister in law was with me. Which I am so thankful for. Unfortunately they found out that I had a placenta abruption and the baby was dead. Basically the placenta tore away from the uterus. They said that as soon as I felt the pain the baby was dead within 4 minutes so there was no way I could have saved him. I am not sure why this had to happen but it was very hard. Unfortunately I still had to go through delivery. It was really hard but I made it though thanks to Ben's blessing and some family members there with me. After the delivery it was scary because they couldn't get me to stop bleeding. They were on the verge of life flighting me to Salt Lake. At one point I passed out and stopped breathing. Ben said it was the scariest thing in his whole life. I am so glad Heavenly Father was watching out for me. We named our baby son Kade Howard Allred. He was Born June 4th 2009 at 1:58 PM and weighed 5 lbs 1 oz and was 18 1/2 inches long. He was so cute and precious. I definatly wish he was here with us. It was wonderful to get to hold him for a while. I am so thankful for the gospel and the knowledge that he is up in heaven. It gives me peace that he got his body and now he has moved on and will go to the celestial kingdom. I look forward to the day when we will have a great reunion up in heaven. It has truly brought me peace to know all of that. I am so thankful to all of the family and friends that have helped us out through these trying weeks. I don't know what we would have done with out you. Unfortunately with the blood loss I had, the eye doctor thinks I had a mini stroke in one eye and I have been having trouble seeing good. Hopefully it will improve but the doctor says at this point he can't do anything. I know it is a blessing that I am still alive so I will have to deal with the eye problem one day at a time. Well that is it in a nut shell. I am sorry it is such a long post. I just wanted to share our experience with you. I love you all and appreciate all of your prayers and help in our behalf. We really do feel we have been blessed and I know Heavenly Father will help us get through all of this.

For those of you that dont know, we have found out that we are having a baby boy. We are so excited. That will even it up with 3 girls and 3 boys. I feel I am so blessed to have happy healthy children. We will be expecting him to arrive July 21st.

Fun at Disney Land

We just got back from an awesome trip to Disney land. We had so much fun. It was very nice because Linnie kept Bowdy for us so we didn't have any little kids that couldn't go on rides. We went to the beach one of the days. It was very cold but the kids had a blast. It was also really neat because for about 45 minutes there were 3 dolphins swimming right off shore about 20 yrds so it was fun to watch them.

One of the days we went to Knott's Berry Farm. It was so much fun. There were no lines.

48 inches meant you were to tall to get in for the children's price. However they had a deal and every one got in for the children's price. It was only about $25/person (cheaper than Lagoon). It had so many cool roller coasters and so many kid rides. We enjoyed every minute.

This is the kids in front of California Adventure. We went there one of the days. It was so neat. They had the pixar parade which was amazing. At Disney land there isn't a parade this time of year so our kids loved it because of all of the characters.

Mandi was terrified of stitch. Ben teased her that he might claw her so I had to hold her for the picture because she was afraid.

Mandi and Aspen's favorite ride at Disney land and Cal. adventure was the merry go round. We went on it about 20 times. We would go over and over while Ben, Kiersten and Tucker went on the big rides.

We had so much fun this trip. It was the best. I am sad it is over. However we were so glad to get back to Bowdy. Thank you Linnie and Jason for watching him.

Mexico and snow fun

Girls Gone Wild

I just had a girls weekend with the Allred girls. It was a blast and dare I say we went wild. We had so much fun! I wasn't going to post this picture because I look so pregnant, (Yes I am pregnant) but shouldn't look it right now. But it was a funny picture so I guess you all get to see me in a swim suit. AUUGGG!

We had a blast at the pool. I even got exercise because we had races on the green floats. It was like being a kid again.

We played cards at night and some of us stayed up till 2 am talking. It was so much fun.

Yes that is JoAnn in the blue. She didn't think I was really taking the picture but now she knows. She is so cute!

Yes! we did eat allot. We had so much good food.

Linnie and Callie jumped on the beds. It was so funny.

The only child we took was Callie's new little one, Landon. He was the best baby ever. We stayed 2 nights and had the time of our life. We went to Mama Mia the movie which was so much fun. We did way to much shopping and spent way to much money. I love girl weekends. We missed our families but it was time worth spending. Some times as mom's and wives we just need a little break to re-group and have some time to our selves. Thanks Ben for being a great husband and taking care of the kids.

Change of due date

Hi, I just realized that my sister- in -law Linnie and I calculated my due date wrong. YAHHH! I am actually due Aug. 1st instead of Aug. 19th. I am so glad. The 19 days will make a big difference in the heat of the summer. See you all later.

Pregnancy Tag
1- Where were you when you first found out you were pregnant? In the bathroom.
2- Who was with you? Me, my self and our new little fetus.
3- How did you find out that you were pregnant? A little stick. I got 50 tests on E-bay for about $7.00.
4- What was your first reaction to finding out you were pregnant? It is about time. We have been trying for only 2 months but I had a miscarriage so it seems like forever.
5- Your husbands reaction? Oh that means we don't get to try any more!
6- Who was the first person you told? Ben, my adorable hubby
7-Did you plan to get pregnant? yes! yes!
8-Was everybody happy for you? Yes, I think so
9- Did you go out and celebrate? Yes I went to the kitchen and had some chocolate, HA HA
10- Did you want to find out the sex? Yes we will find out the sex as soon as I am far enough along. We always find out.
11- What was the sex? don't know yet.
12-Did anyone throw you a baby shower? No this will be my sixth kid
13-Did you get any outfits at the baby shower that you just knew you weren't going to put on your baby?
14- How much weight did you gain? Nothing yet. I have actually lost about 2 pds this month
15- Did you loose all of the weight that you gained? I still am 20 pd over weight from having Bowdy, so I will have to watch it with this one.
16- Did you get a lot of stretch marks? Can you say YES! I have them from the bottom of my belly to just below my chest. UHGG. I hate stretch marks. I am hoping for a tummy tuck as soon as I am done having kids. Only a couple more to go. Hopefully I wont get new ones with this pregnancy.
17- What did you crave the most? I always crave chocolate. But I crave it even when I am not pregnant. I am sure I just like it to much.
18- Did you crave anything crazy? I craved having my body back and I crave sleep.
19- Who or what got on your nerves the most? I think my kids get to me but only because I get tired and my hormones are crazy so I am on edge more. Ohhhh also all the skinny girls in the world get on my nerves. HA HA
20- Were you married at the time? I think so. Last time I checked I was.
21- Did you have any complications during your pregnancy? not this time, but I am only 4 weeks along.

Yes! I am pregnant again, if you haven't already figured it out. I found out yesterday. I hope everything goes well and we get to have this one. I am due Aug. 19th 2009 (ohhh that is so far away) We are so excited and the kids cant wait. We are hoping for twins. Maybe with some luck we will get some. I want twins because I think they would be fun. Also we want a couple more so it would be nice to be pregnant once and get 2 out of it. Wish us luck!

Our condo burned down

For those that haven't already heard, one of our rental condos that we have in Vernal burnt to the ground on Monday night. I guess our renter had a heater in the garage and it was to close to the gas line and it blew up. They were on the second floor and so he went down to see what happened and the hole garage was in flames. He raced up stairs and told his wife to go get the 2 kids up stairs. He got their 8 yr old daughter out and he tried to get back in and the smoke was so thick he couldn't. The mom opened a window on the 3rd floor and said she couldn't find the kids because the smoke was so thick. By some miracle the kids heard the mom and found her. The mom had to throw the 2 kids out of the 3rd story window to there dad. She then had to jump herself. Luckily no one was hurt while jumping. Unfortunately there dalmatian dog did not get out. It is such a miracle that they all got out. the fire spread in a matter of minutes.

Luckily for Ben & I we have insurance. Between ours and the condo assosiations insurance, we should be covered. I just feel really bad for our renters. Unfortunately they did not get renters insurance so everything they owned was lost. They have nothing to their name and really need help. Any money donations or the following items would help immensely. I will give the clothing sizes and items they could use below. If you have any question please email me or call. Halloween Kids

Our kids had so much fun on Halloween. When we were taking the pictures Ben was laughing so hard because all of their costumes were pretty raggedy. (Mandi's was held together with safety pins). I don't think it is a bad thing to be a little raggedy. I think he just thought it was kind of funny that I didn't spend more time on it I guess. I just pulled out all of the costumes I got at yard sales and said choose one. I love yard sales and I also like to save money. I think sometimes we take life to serious. I know the kids loved it and they didn't know that there costumes weren't new or cool. They just love being dressed up.

We had a lot of fun on Halloween. We got way to much candy. Sorry Dentist! Or should I say sorry to Ben and myself for having to pay for the dentist bills. Oh by the way I thought I would let you all know, I am a slacker at taking my kids to the Dentist. We finally decide to go and we have spent over $2000 and are still not done. To parents who don't take dental Hygiene seriously, I suggest you do because it is so so expensive. I now have my kids floss, brush and use mouth wash every day. sorry it has taken me over 3 month to blog again. I will try to do better. HA HA. I will see you at Christmas! J/K

Camping over the 24th of July weekend

We had such a wonderful time camping on the 24th of July weekend. We went with some of our awesome friends, Jeff and Kris Haley and their 3 kids. For those of you that don't know Jeff and Kris well, they do everything big and awesome. They found the best spot above strawberry reservoir. It was almost to the top of the mountain. On the way up we were thinking Jeff was crazy because it was so far up. The road was pretty crazy and our trailer dragged a little but once we got there we realized why he picked it. There was no one else around and it had a breath taking view. He had the camp so set up. He dug a hole and bought sand to make a sand pit for the kids. He had a outdoors kitchen with all the works. They had bikes, a canope, horse shoes, and a fire pit about 5 times the sizes of a normal one. Anything you can think of they had. It was such an awesome trip. I wish we could have stayed longer.

This is us eating the Cajun boil. Jeff is the master cook. He cooks shrimp, crab legs, corn, potatoes, chicken, sausage, hot dogs and who knows what else all together with Cajun sauce. Then they cover a table with paper and they dump it out. That is our Q to pig out. It is the best food ever. Traci Taylor, Barry & Angi Johnson and there 3 boys came up for dinner. We had so much fun and ate way to much.
Cienna is awesome riding a 4 wheeler so she gave all of my kids a ride. They love her so much!

Jordan is Bowdy's favorite. She is the best! She took care of Bowdy the hole time (including diaper changes) I don't know what we would do with out her.

Kiersten and Tucker built a hut in the tall weeds. This is them coming back with there walking sticks. They said they heard an animal growl by their hut, so I sent Ben to investigate. He found nothing, but who knows what it could have been. There are a lot of bears and mountain lions in the area. OOOOOH

A sad day for Ben

I am sure all of you know that Ben finally was able to buy his dream truck about 1 1/2 years ago. He has loved it so much and he took such good care of it. Unfortunately we all have to make sacrifices in life and this had to be one for him. We just built a new home so we have had a lot of bills come up. He chose to sell it so we could get things paid off. I told him he didn't have to, but he said that he wanted to. Heavenly Father blessed us so much. We sold it in only 1 1/2 days of having it up for sale. I am so glad Ben was willing to make the sacrifice and sell it. I love him so much and I hope some day he can get a new one because I think he was so cute driving it. He was like a little kid in a candy store when he drove it. He is the best!

Big sleep over with the Allred cousins

We had a fun sleep over a couple of weeks ago with the Allred cousins. We had 11 kids total. They all had so much fun. every one thought I was crazy for having so many of them over all at once, but we had so much fun. It wasn't hard at all. It actually was easy because they all entertained my kids. They all wanted pictures taken so these are some of them.

Lunch was a fun experience. Lucky we have 10 stools, so they all fit. We had a huge pot of mac and cheese. Of course they all ate it right up. What kid doesn't like mac and cheese!

Bowdy was asleep so he is not in any of the pictures I know my kids look like rug rats. Welllll they are. I love it! They look like little poor children about 99% of there lives, but then I don't have to worry about them getting things ruined. I sure wish I could be a kid again!

Family Fun at Moon Lake

After my family came to our house they all went up to Moon Lake for 2 days. We went up to visit on one of the days. It was a blast. From the left this is, Kallee (sister), Me (Autumn), Traci (sister-in-Law), Brandi (sister-in-law), and April (Mom).
Bowdy didn't like the sand, so I had to hold him most of the time.

The kids went fishing. They had so much fun. One of the times Heston took them and they didn't come back for about 2 hrs. We thought they were going for a short ride. We got worried so we went to the lodge and they sent someone to look for them. Heston was being a great uncle and wanted them all to be able to catch a fish so he just lost track of time. We were all glad to see them safe and sound. We actually cooked and ate some of the fish. I normally don't like fish, but it was pretty good. Tucker loved it. We had to actually make him stop eating it so everyone could taste it. We don't even own a fishhing pool, but I told Ben that we needed to get one because our kids loved it. Thanks for taking my kids fishing Heston and Chad.

Most of the day we sat around and relaxed. It was so nice to sit and visit with my family. I don't get to see them often. I miss them so much!

For some reason my kids gathered sticks for no reason. I guess we just don't have many at our house. HA HA

Fun with Grandma and Grandpa and the cousins

We had a lot of fun about 3 weeks ago. My parents, Kallee, Jay,David, Brandi,
Decklan, and Dallin all came out to see our new house and to visit. we had so much fun!
We went to the pool and had a ball. Bowdy cried about 1 hr strait and for the last 30 min he finally started to like it.

We went to the park for free lunch 2 of the days. It was a lot of fun and free!

the picture is pretty dark but we went to the park one day and found to baby kittens someone had left. I gave them to my sister-in-law so she could give them away. Even though David says he doesn't like animals he didn't want to let them go. We sure miss David. He was one of Kallee's foster kids but he is no longer with them. He was a great kid.

Of course Bowdy's favorite is grandma. He loves her so much. I know he doesn't see her allot but I know he remembers her. How could you not? She is such a wonderful grandma!

Kiersten and Tucker got in trouble and couldn't play while we were at the park so they were on baby sitting duty. I love having older kids to help. They are the best! We had a great time with all of them and I hope they come and visit again.

Hi, I know some of you are shocked but I have finally started a blog. I thought it would be fun to do it so every one could see how our family is doing. Any one who would like to do one let me know and I will help you get started. It is so easy and thanks to Brandi I know how to do most of it. Here are some updated pictures of the family

Apsen fell on Linnie's wishing well today and I had to take her to the ER. She was really brave. It doesn't look bad but it was very deep. She hasn't had her tetanus shot so they gave her that. Lucky they just glued it together with Derma glue so she didn't have to get stitches. Hopefully it wont scare. I told her if she was brave then she could pick a treat so she picked gum. Later today Mandi's stomach hurt and she said mom if I am brave at the doctors when you take me then can I have Gum? Unfortunately for her she wasn't sick enough to go to the doctors but it sure was cute. We are all doing wonderful!!
